Coaches Bio – Clifton Neugent

The Quad City Raiders are pleased to announce that Clifton Neugent has accepted the position of Defensive Coordinator for the 2017 season. Coach Neugent comes to the Raiders with 10 years of coaching experience on the defensive side of the ball and knows what it takes to win a championship.

Originally from Hobart, OK, Coach Neugent graduated from Hobart High School where he began his football experience. After high school, Clifton played football at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. Coach Neugent was part of the 1996 National Championship Team where the Bulldogs defeated Montana Tech 33-31.

After graduating college, he moved into coaching with stints at Forgan, Goodwell and Capitol Hill High Schools where he coached defensive backs and took over the defensive coordinator position.

Being a part of the Quad City community, Clifton lives in Davenport, IA with his beautiful wife and daughter and works locally at the Cintas Corporation.
