Coaches Bio – Aaron Clinton

The Quad City Raiders are pleased to announce Aaron Clinton as the defensive backs coach for the 2017 season. Aaron played high school football at Davenport North High school in Davenport Iowa. He played collegiately at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA before transferring to Friends University in Wichita, KS.

 
While in Wichita, Coach Clinton was able to coach at the Barry Sanders football camp in 1998. After graduating college Aaron returned to the Quad cities area where he tried out and won a spot on the 2000 Quad City Steam Wheelers AFL2 indoor football team. Following his professional career, he remained active in football playing for the Quad City Stallions, the Quad City Wolfpack and with the Quad City Raiders last season.

 
Aaron has five incredible children with eldest studying to be sports agent at the University of Missouri and the youngest being one year old. Coach Clinton manages a local restaurant and enjoys his time off participating in outdoor activities.
